2022 was the year I saw Iran with new eyes. I had reignited my love for a different kind of photography, rooted in storytelling, and bringing my cameras on this regular family trip let me see everything through a more intimate lens. Around this page are my favorite 35 images I snapped with my Olympus MJU II point and shoot camera between two trips, May ‘22 and May ‘23. Shooting film, especially point and shoot, makes me experience both the moment through my viewfinder and in real life.
